April 29th - May 16th: Smarter Balanced (SBA) tests in math and English language arts. Students in grade 8 will also take the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS).

May 21 – Ice Cream Social for families new to LaVenture (6:00-7:30)

May 23 & 24 – 8th Grade Band Tour

May 28 -- All-City Band Festival – MVHS Gymnasium 7:00 pm

June 3 – Dual Language Celebration (5:00-7:00)

June 4 – Orchestra Concert (7:30 pm), Mount Baker Gymnasium

June 6 – Band Finale Concert (7:00 pm), LaVenture Performing Arts Center

June 11 - LaVenture Choir Concert, 7 pm, LaVenture Performing Arts Center

June 14 – Moving Up ceremony – 9:30 am in the gymnasium

Moving Up Dance -- 7:00-9:00 pm in the MVHS Cafeteria

June 17 – Last Day of School – Early release (12:00)


Prevention/Intervention Specialist

Robin Coe is the Prevention/Intervention Specialist at LaVenture Middle School.

SeaMar Community Health Centers. They do Mental Health Counseling for youth and adults along with Substance Abuse counseling. Their website is also in Spanish/English.
